get every pupil in your school reading more! Get them
hooked with illustrated poetry, non-fiction and stories to
read aloud - and then let them choose character miniseries,
graphic texts, stories and non-fiction to read by
themselves from our linked Independent Library.
2. It's inclusive, diverse and
designed for ALL pupils
o Readerful books are rich and diverse, so that children
can see themselves as well as learn about people,
characters, topics and settings that are outside
their own experiences.
o With over 180 books across the Readerful library
you're sure to see some familiar names amongst the
authors as well as exciting new voices, with a third
coming from underrepresented backgrounds.
o Our Independent Library includes Readerful Rise,
a series of motivating, high-engagement books for
struggling readers who need decodable texts that
look like the books their friends are reading.
3. Your pupils will be reading
books that boost their vocabulary
Readerful books embed 300 key words from the
Oxford Vocabulary Framework, specially chosen to
ensure all readers become familiar with words that will
allow them to succeed at school and beyond. Vocabulary
and definitions are listed at the front of each book and
introduced on the page in fun and engaging contexts.

pupils more choice

in your class will be able to find an inclusive,

8. Readerful enables you to
comfortably meet the DfE's
Reading Framework (July 2023)
The DfE Reading Framework stresses the importance
of not leaving reading for pleasure to chance.
It emphasises important activities such as reading
aloud, and children having access to rich vocabulary
and diverse and inclusive book choices. The Readerful
library gives you all of this with books, teaching support
and professional development all focused on ensuring
all children become successful, motivated readers.
